TCC, The Containership Company, adds online schedule enquiries to their web-site using arl-shipping.com’s e-Schedule web platform.
 
COPENHAGEN, HONG KONG, August 16, 2010 – The TCC website, containership-company.com, now allows customers and business partners to query for suitable departures or arrivals, and to subscribe to updated email-schedules at their selected weekday and timing.
 
“Self-service, including online schedule enquiries, is a must for maintaining low costs as part of our no-frills approach to container shipping”, says Lars Jensen, director Marketing & IT from TCC. Lars, who has a past as director of youship.com, Maersk’s initiative for self-service liner services, continues: “Our online schedules are additionally available electronically for our booking partners consolidating cargo from smaller shippers and forwarders. Our partners can choose to re-publish the electronic schedules towards their own customers and use the schedules as a core for taking electronic bookings and giving online freight quotes”, he adds.
